Recently SoftServe has built strong partnerships and some of them, particularly with Google, led to increasing number of concepts and projects around how smart cities and smart mobility work. This six-week online course from the MIT Media Lab demonstrated how disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) can be leveraged to improve the lives of those who make their homes in the increasingly urban landscape.

Cities are home to more than half of the world’s population, with an additional 2.5 billion citizens expected to reside in urban areas by 2050. As such, there is a growing need for smarter, more sustainable, and more responsive cities of the future.

Andrii Glushko will go over the main takeaways from the course and provide the resources and guidance around how to deep dive into the subtopics that you might be the most interested in.
